Ingram Micro expands Veeam distribution with cloud range

Veeam has expanded its distribution relationship with Ingram Micro, which will now provide the Veeam Cloud & Service Providers (VCSP) program.

The deal allows the distributor to expand its monthly software rental offerings to include Veeam’s hosting and migration capabilities as well as the vendor’s backup and disaster recovery-as-a-service products.

Lee Welch, cloud and software services general manager for Ingram Australia, said local demand for hybrid cloud saw more and more vendors look to Ingram to get their products to market. "We get approached every day from partners looking to enhance their business models and hosting capabilities."

Rhipe is also a Veeam VCSP distributor, while Avnet distributes Veeam's perpetual licences.
