Lazberger boasts previous IT and channel experience with the likes of Telstra, ComputerCORP and most recently a three-year spell at distributor Corporate Express.
“Our people know the IT industry - its pain points and idiosyncrasies – and we are well placed to advise and execute on channel marcoms that deliver a good ROI.”
Lazberger said Ingram was looking for a personality who was a good cultural fit and could lead the distribution giant’s marketing efforts.
“I am working with key stake holders across the company, reviewing systems and processes from a customer-centric experience. To communicate so many brands, products and solutions - we need both a fair and equitable marcoms system and an excellent user experience,” he said.
“We will be conducting a comprehensive brand audit in Q1, involving our customers, vendors and staff. This will be an assessment of all major areas of the business and how we can improve on the Ingram Micro experience. From this we will also update our brand, key messaging and culture, company wide and at a business unit level.”
