Managed cyber security services provider Infotrust has appointed Jan Zeilinga as the company's chief information security officer (CISO).
Zeilinga joins from James Cook University, where he was CISO for the last two and a half years.
Prior to this, he has served as the manager of identity and access management at ING Australia, a partner at NextID Australia and a CTO of cyber security services at KPMG Australia.
The CEO of Infotrust, Simon McKay, said Zeilinga brings years of experience in CISO and senior cyber leadership roles and will oversee the strategic direction for several of the company's technical services divisions, working closely with customers to help shape, drive and implement their security strategies.
"Having built one of the most prominent IDAM practices in Australia, Jan will lead our go to market in all things SOC, GRC, Identity, DLP, Data Security and Data Governance," he said on LinkedIn.
"FY25 was a record growth year for Infotrust and with the addition of Jan and several other considerably talented folks, we’ve added significant cyber experience and capability to an already formidable team."
