Sydney-based managed services provider CloudRecover has ventured into the distribution space as the newly appointed specialist Hewlett Packard Enterprise software value-added distributor.
CloudRecover has been in the market for the past 10 years as an MSP for cloud-based applications.
The company claims to have one of the largest private clouds in Australia, with more than nine petabytes under management, servicing small and medium business as well as enterprises.
CloudRecover now offers specialist cloud delivery of HPE solutions such as storage optimiser, records and content manager and VM explorer for backup and disaster recovery.
CloudRecover chief executive and founder Mac Thompson said: "We were an early mover to cloud as a service provider over 10 years ago. This appointment as a specialist HPE Software value-added distributor cements our relationship with HPE, and we are proud to offer the full suite of HPE Software information management and governance solutions in a flexible, true cloud-based SaaS delivery model," said Thompson.
The managed services provider offers a monthly subscription to the cloud hosted solution as well as backup, DR, archiving and data management.
In February, HPE dropped three Australian distributors in a restructure. Synnex and Avnet lost HPE and Westcon lost Aruba's portfolio.
