India based HCLTech said it has named Sonia Eland as its new country manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Eland, who also takes on an executive vice president role, replaces Michael Horton who HCLTech said movies into a consulting role after almost a decade with the technology company.
Prior to HCLTech, Eland was a ServiceNow lead partner at Deloitte, and the management consultants technology strategy and transformation partner.
Eland has also held senior positions at DXC, CSC, Fujitsu, Westpac and HSBC.
She will be based in Sydney, and report to HCLTech's president of growth markets, Swapan Johri.
“With big data, AI, IoT, cloud and cyber security playing an increasingly significant role in our day-to-day lives, businesses need trusted partners with the experience, capability and creativity to harness the full power of digital and embed resiliency, optimisation and continuous innovation into their organisations,” Eland said.
In September this year, agriculture company Elders tapped HCLTech for digital transformation.
HCLTech also signed a new agreement with Cricket Australia in August, continuing as the asssociation's digital transformation partner.
