Network security vendor ForeScout has hired two former Palo Alto Networks executives to lead its local business.
Adam Gordon was appointed country manager for Australia and New Zealand, where will be responsible for all aspects of the business, including revenue, business strategy and the partner channel.
He was one of the first Palo Alto employees in Australia starting in 2011, where he was a regional sales manager before moving to the district sales manager role. Prior to that, Gordon has held positions at Fuji Xerox, EMC and McAfee.
ForeScout also recruited former Palo Alto APAC vice president Steve Redman to be its vice president and head of sales for APJ. Redman previously worked for EMC as vice president of APJ and McAfee as president of APAC and later EVP of global sales and field ops.
“There is enormous potential for ForeScout to support our customers across the diverse and vast Asia Pacific and Japan market through sales engagement, as well as the ongoing development of our partner community,” Redman said.
“I am excited about the opportunity to help our customers in this region with one of the biggest challenges in cybersecurity today with the emergence of IoT devices connecting to the enterprise network.”
ForeScout senior vice president of global commercial sales Brian Gumbel said: “Visibility is the next big thing in security and maintaining our reputation as a leader in this space is supported through our top-notch executive team. The additions to our sales leadership team in APJ will better position us to capture our large market opportunity in this region.”
