F5 Networks has appointed Gabriel Breeman to the newly created role of vice president of partner sales and alliances for Asia-Pacific.

He will be based in Singapore and will work closely with the sales team to help F5 take advantage of the opportunity draw by the increase of application centric industries.

Breeman joins from Brocade, where we was most recently senior director of partner sales for Asia-Pacific and Japan. He spent most of the past 10 years working for Brocade in various senior roles.

He will report to F5's senior vice president of Asia-Pacific sales Adam Judd. Judd was appointed in March this year and also joined from Brocade, which was recently acquired by Broadcom.

Breeman has also worked for other industry names including SanDisk, Dot Hill Systems and Sun Microsystems over his 20-year career.

"Partnerships with the right technology providers are critical to succeed in today’s competitive digital landscape, where cloud and applications drive business growth," said Breeman.

"I am excited to join F5 Networks at the pinnacle of Asia Pacific’s digital transformation and I look forward to striking new collaborations to help businesses stay ahead in today’s multi-cloud world."
