The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is undertaking a refresh of its Cloud Marketplace sourcing arrangement to allow for new suppliers to join the panel.
The refresh follows a similar undertaking by the DTA around this time last year.
The Cloud Marketplace allows a broad range of Australian Government and other approved entities to purchase cloud offerings and services from technology providers.
The Cloud Marketplace is divided into two different categories of offerings - Cloud Services and Cloud Consulting.
Cloud Services includes ICT functionality (‘as a service’) services, while Cloud Consulting includes cloud computing related professional services sourced through subject matter experts to assist on cloud initiatives.
The DTA said that in the future, it may also approach the market in relation to additional categories and capabilities.
As part of this refresh, the DTA is continuing the pricing regime which guarantees minimum discounts off list or recommended retail prices and caps the price of the offerings for the term of the agreement.
Application evaluations are set to be completed by March 2026 and execution of Head Agreements or catalogue updates commence in April 2026
The closing time of the request for tender is 4:00pm on 7 November 2025
Earlier this month, the DTA released the draft Panel Agreement terms for Software and Cloud under the Digital Marketplace Panel 2 (DMP2).
