The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is looking for software resellers to join its software licensing and services panel.
The agency released a request for tender yesterday seeking commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software and services providers to comprise the panel’s new COTS category released in June.
The category intends to replace most of the software procurement through a Department of Finance panel that expires at the end of this month.
“We appreciated the overwhelming response to the request for information, and have since incorporated many of the suggestions into our development of the new category,” the announcement read.
“We hope to appoint multiple sellers to the new category.”
The panel was established in February with the Microsoft Volume Sourcing Arrangement as its first category.
Interested suppliers can lodge their tenders electronically through AusTender until 2pm on 20 September.
Earlier this year, the DTA launched a new hardware marketplace with the aim of increasing the number of small to medium enterprises that can sell to government.
