It took Licensing Solutions, Software Asset Management Partner of the Year; Large Account Reseller Partner of the Year; and Information Worker Solutions, Office Deployment Partner of the Year.
And was a finalist in the Licensing Solutions, Licensing Delivery; Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Systems Management; and Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Windows Desktop Deployment categories.
The licensing awards are timely, with the expansion of Dimension Data's Large Account Reseller (LAR) footprint globally, and the imminent release of Windows 7 bound to create a surge in deployment and systems management projects.
Brian Walshe general manager for Microsoft Solutions at Dimension Data said it takes the Microsoft Partner awards very seriously for a number of reasons.
"Firstly they are global in nature, so we get to measure ourselves not just against the other Microsoft partners in Australia, but the entire Microsoft global partner community," he said.
"Secondly from a client perspective, it's pretty difficult to objectively compare partners and their capability. For example, how does a customer looking for a licensing partner decide between the different LAR's out there? The Microsoft Partner Awards provide objective evidence.
"We can now point to the Large Account Reseller of the Year Award as evidence that Dimension Data is world's best practice when it comes to licensing."
Walshe added over the last five years DiData has had an unparalleled run of success in winning 11 Microsoft Global Partner Awards.
He said that success has reinforced its commitment to the Microsoft platform , and driven the company to aim not just to be the best in its focus areas within Australia, but the best globally.
"We believe that commitment translates into better results for our customers," he said.
The awards were announced at the 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards.
