Dicker Data signs security vendor Trend Micro

Dicker Data has been named Trend Micro's fourth distributor in Australia.

Dicker joins Avnet, Ingram Micro and Rhipe and will offer the security software vendor's entire portfolio in the region.

David Dicker, chairman and chief executive at Dicker Data, said: "We’re pleased to be announcing our new partnership with Trend Micro. The market for security products in Australia continues to grow as the threat landscape evolves and changes.

The partnership will see a collaboration with a channel-focused portfolio of enterprise, medium and small business security solutions.

Trend Micro's solutions will strengthen the distributor's security line-up, according to Dicker Data. Dicker Data's portfolio currently includes RSA, Symantec and Trustwave. The distributor also offers security appliances from Citrix and Cisco and a Forefront product offering with Microsoft.
