Dell has appointed a new channel boss following former A/NZ channel director Jay Turner’s departure in June.
Dell sales stalwart Peter Murphy has been promoted to the role. Murphy has a career spanning 12 years and several geographies at Dell, including stints at the PC maker’s UK and US operations.
He was most recently the local regional sales director. Murphy is tasked with overseeing Dell’s partner program in Australia and New Zealand.
Turner departed the company in June to take on a role as A/NZ general manager of mobile computing provider Targus.
