Selection as an EMC Premier Partner means that Datacom now has access to a broader EMC product range including Network Attached Storage, Tiered Storage and Storage Area Networks such as the new CLARiiON CX3 range, Symmetrix DMX, Centera and other Enterprise information infrastructure products.
Director of Datacom Systems NSW, Mark McWilliams said being part of the Velocity Partner Program gives Datacom access to specialist training on new EMC software and hardware solutions to build information infrastructure that keeps pace with customers’ needs.
“Over the next year, Datacom will invest heavily to achieve the highest level of technical certification in EMC’s Authorised Service Network (ASN). Specifically, Datacom aims to have five of its team members trained to the highest level of technical certification in EMC’s Authorised Service Network within twelve months,” he said.
McWilliams claimed this collaboration, broadens its technology toolkit and strengthens its specialist expertise in information infrastructure. It also aligns with Datacom’s vision of being Australia’s premier technology services partner.
David Henderson, general manager Commercial and Channel Sales A/NZ at EMC said Datacom, with its business-centric approach to IT services, adds deep expertise to its partner community in offering holistic information infrastructure solutions to the enterprise market.
This partnership, which extends Datacom’s existing affiliation with EMC in New Zealand, also builds on Datacom Australia’s longstanding relationship with the information infrastructure company, said McWilliams.
Mid market clients can now access EMC technology at a standout price point from Datacom, who are now represented in QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA and the ACT.
