Data#3 has promoted one of its long-term staffers to head up its server, storage and networking solutions business.
John Tan has been named general manager of infrastructure solutions, and will be responsible for creating a long-term strategy for the division, focused on maintaining strong financial performance and customer experience outcomes across.
“I’m excited by this great opportunity to build upon an already successful business. Rapid transformation within the technology industry creates a need to constantly innovate, and the broader remit afforded to me by this new roles gives me the scope to drive innovation,” Tan said.

Tan joined Data#3 in 2007 as national maintenance manager before rising up to become general manager for maintenance services in 2015.
Prior to that, he held stints in various IT and finance roles in Australia and the United Kingdom, including Brisbane-based WebCentral and clothing retailer Thomas Pink.
