CRN Channel Meets Sydney to unpack data protection following high profile data breaches

[Correction: The story has been updated to correct an earlier reference to a ClubsNSW data breach. CRN understands that this was not a breach of ClubsNSW, but as ID Support NSW states, "an incident involving unauthorised access to customer information held by an IT provider which is used by hospitality venues across both NSW and the ACT."]

Sydney IT partners and security vendors will have plenty to discuss when they meet at CRN Channel Meets Security tomorrow evening, following the recent high profile data breaches including incidents involving hospitality venues across NSW and the ACT.

Some final seats are still available at the informal dinner and discussion event from 5.30pm-8.30pm at The Establishment Ballroom, which is designed to give MSPs and other IT partners a quick update on a range of pressing security issues and solutions in a couple of hours.

Attendees will get to take part in roundtables and listen to fireside chats and panel discussions featuring fellow IT partners and vendors.

On the agenda will be practical discussion about:
- Automation and advanced security with Fuse Technology's Peter Limnios, NinjaOne's Victor Guerrero and Huntress' Reece Appleton
- Data protection and AI readiness with FUJIFILM CodeBlue Australia’s Vipin Hooda, Ingram Micro’s Mark Voyce and Platinum Technology's Steve Raw
- Simplifying security (including cyber-insurance) with SherpaTech's Tim Stephinson, 11:11 Systems Marc Beder and OpenText Cybersecurity’s Steve Stavridis.

Register here to join us from 5.30pm at The Establishment Ballroom at 252 George St, Sydney.
