Cloud data integration vendor Talend has appointed Helen Larcos as its first ANZ channel and alliances manager.
Larcos was hired from software development platform GitHub, where she was channel sales manager for ANZ and Southeast Asia.
In her new role, Larcos will be based in Sydney and will be responsible for supporting Talend’s regional partner ecosystem and expanding the vendor’s partner-led business initiatives.
“Helen joins Talend at a time when we’re a fast-growing cloud company working with organisations across Australia and New Zealand who are reliant on their partners to support them in reaping the advantages of their structured and unstructured data," Talend ANZ country manager Steve Singer said.
“Helen’s experience will benefit our partners in supporting our customers’ cloud integration projects in a market environment where there is greater demand for accessible and compliant data at the same time sources and volumes are increasing and becoming more difficult to manage.
“We’re looking forward to the positive impact which Helen’s skills will have on our overall business in the region.”
Prior to joining GitHub, Larcos was director of strategy and operations for IT services provider CommsTech Australia, and also held various sales roles with Microsoft, Datacom and the UNSW’s AGSM Executive Programs.
“Talend delivers a winning formula for the region with its strong channel structure and proven expertise in helping businesses streamline their complex data integration requirements," Larcos said.
"I’m looking forward to deploying my extensive experience to further enable partners to support customers as they drive a competitive advantage through their use of Talend.”
