Software developer Clarity won a contract to rollout its operational support systems (OSS) at 3G network operator Indonesia PT Hutchison CP Telecommunications (HCPT).
HCPT and its system integrator Tech Mahindra selected the Clarity OSS platform to run its mobile subscriber services.
Tomislav Matic, CEO at Clarity – a division of ASX-listed Powerlan – said the HCPT contract was the four signed in the past nine months by the company in the Asia-Pacific region for the OSS product.
“Clarity OSS has been designed to support convergent delivery of voice, data, application and content services over legacy and next-generation networks,” he said in a statement.
HCPT – a new player in the Indonesian mobile market – has bought licenses to use the system in that country. Tech Mahindra is implementing the system and Clarity would provide support and maintenance.
