The MPX 9500 and MPX 7500 are aimed at mid-to-large enterprises while the MPX 5500 brings the NetScaler MPX architecture to small and medium sized companies for the first time.
The launch was announced at the Interop 2009 conference in Las Vegas.
"The web applications common in small organisations are not that different from those prevalent in large enterprises," said Klaus Oestermann, group vice president and general manager NetScaler Product Group.
"These businesses often have more intensive web application delivery requirements, but the problem is that they also need a more affordable price point.
"The Citrix NetScaler MPX models will enable smaller companies to tap the power of NetScaler technology and provide solid investment protection," he added.
The NetScaler MPX appliances offer performance ranging from 500 Mbps of layer seven throughput, up to a maximum of three Gbps.
They are used by organisations requiring enterprise-class application security, acceleration, availability and offload capabilities, but faced with increasing budget constraints and limited data centre capacity.
All three models are based on multi-core Intel processors.
