NEW YORK (Reuters) - Cisco Systems on Friday said it broke ground on a US$50 million, one-million-square-foot campus in Bangalore that will host as many as 3000 staff in research and development, IT, sales and customer support.

The company expects the campus to be completed by June 2007. Cisco, which employs 1400 in India, established R&D facilities in the country in 1998.
