Security vendor Check Point, is set to launch an enhanced channel program in 2008 with a focus on providing support and rewarding partners for achievements in the market.
According to Check Point, Partners will be given access to sales, marketing and training tools and resources such as pre and post-sales support as well as technical support. The vendor claimed, PureAdvantage will also offer lead sharing opportunities and a listing in the Check Point Partner Locator.
Scott McKinnel, country manager A/NZ at Check Point said, we are fully committed to providing our certified partners with the best business and growth opportunities.
“We are committed to providing our partners real value through this program and rewarding them for their ongoing investment in and commitment to Check Point,” said McKinnel.
When asked about where partner initiatives rate on Check Point’s list of priorities, McKinnel said a strong partner program is vital to establishing and maintaining channel relationships, which in time will benefit the vendor as it builds a strong overall presence in the security space.
“PureAdvantage is backed by a strong business development structure to ensure our partners have the training, skills and incentives they need to take full advantage of the burgeoning security market,” McKinnel said.
Further improvements to PureAdvantage may be on the cards as the security vendor acknowledges a need to evolve the program in the future to meet the changing needs of partners.
“We will continue to work with our partners by listening to their feedback, and changing business requirements to ensure that we meet their training and business development needs to maximise the Check Point opportunity,” said McKinnel.
