Industry association CompTIA has unveiled a collection of best practices to help IT channel players improve their performance.
CompTIA Channel Standards, a series of documents that are available for free, has been released by the US-headquartered organisation.
CompTIA ANZ community director and the co-founder of Sydney's Channel Dynamics, Moheb Moses, said the new standards aim to help channel companies achieve high business performance.
“Formalising these standards gives businesses in Australia and New Zealand a benchmark to assess their own performance, helping them continue to innovate,” he said.
“They also provide a reference for customers to ensure they are getting the best service.”
The documents that make up the channel standards were written with the input of industry experts across many different IT organisations, according to CompTIA.
“To make the most of these standards in your business requires an honest self-assessment and realistic plans for making any changes,” the association stated.
“Your company and its management team can embrace incremental improvements to build a stronger business, focusing on meeting the ever-increasing expectations of their clients, and create a highly professional environment for employees.”
