Canon Business Services head Craig Manson departs
Craig Manson

Craig Manson has stepped down as director of Canon Business Services Australia, a position that he held for five years.

Harbour IT sits within the Business Services division, after Canon acquired a majority stake in the manage services provider in September 2014. Manson was also responsible for Canon Finance Australia and Canon Production Print.

A Canon spokesperson confirmed Manson had left the company in December but declined to give reasons.

“Craig provided a valuable contribution to Canon during his employment and we wish Craig the very best for the future," the spokesperson told CRN, adding that senior general manager David Klineberg is now acting in the position.

“It’s business as usual for us... David is one of Canon’s senior leaders and is well placed to give guidance and direction to the team.”

Manson declined to comment to CRN. Canon did not specify its long-term plans for the Business Services director position.

In total, Manson worked for Canon for more than 10 years in the ANZ region, including as senior general manager for Canon Australia and Oceania, and managing director for Canon NZ.

According to LinkedIn, he is now the managing director, advisor and collaborator for a startup Number7 Group.
