Veteran reseller CDTS Australia has signed on as a new partner of A10 Networks.

"Security is becoming more of an issue across all departments and in commercial business, so A10 Networks' ability to counter DDoS attacks will be crucially important," said Michael Wilson, managing director of CDTS Australia.

The Canberra consultancy has been in the Australian channel for more than 30 years, with a focus on government and defence clients.

"A10's platform fits our networking mobility solutions, particularly our requirements for security in government agencies where A10 technology will provide great flexibility," said Wilson.

The MD said convenience was another reason for choosing A10.

"A10 offers a simplified upgrade path for customers looking at upgrading their network. Instead of having to replace 30 to 50 pieces of equipment, A10 can deliver a fast migration for ingress and egress, then allow network peripherals to be upgraded slowly."

Accordgin to the vendor, CDTS Australia has "broad experience in deploying enterprise mobility solutions, mobile application management (MAM) and networking solutions".

A10 local managing director, Greg Barnes, said: "This reseller partnership is an important step in expanding our network of value-added channel partners and will help to consolidate our market position, particularly in government."

A10 Networks is a 10-year-old vendor based in California that specialises in acceleration and security of networks. Last month, it launched a new partner program for Australia, after signing distie Whitegold Solutions in March.
