Publicly listed Bulletproof has been granted a share trading halt on the Australian Securities Exchange as of start of business this morning.

The prominent AWS partner had "plans to make an announcement" about a potential acquisition before start of trading on Thursday, according to Bulletproof company secretary Kylie Turner.

The trading halt will lift then or upon the acquisition announcement, whichever comes earlier.

Hosting, consulting and cloud provider Bulletproof acquired Sydney's Pantha Corp for $3.9 million back in December, and leveraged it to rejuvenate its professional services team.

The Sydney-headquartered company - with branches in Melbourne and and San Jose, California - was the first AWS Premier Partner in the ANZ region.
