The organising committee for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympics Games is seeking expressions of interest from telecommunication service providers for the design, deployment, operation and Games-time support of telco services required to deliver the Games.
The scope encompasses the full range of telecommunications services required for the Games, including wide area connectivity, broadcast content distribution, venue Local Area Networks (LAN), mobile network services, private mobile push-to-talk network services, the Data, Intercom, Video and Audio (DIVA) network and Host Broadcast Content Distribution (HBCD) services.
The successful service provider(s) will be responsible for delivering resilient, secure, and scalable telecommunications capabilities across all Brisbane 2032 venues, supporting 24/7 Games-time operations as well as the ongoing business operation periods.
The committee anticipates that the scope may be delivered by a single integrated provider or by multiple specialist suppliers across the service areas.
Expressions of interest close on 5 July 2026.
So far already this year, the committee has released EOIs for the provision of CCTV systems; for the provision, configuration, integration, and support of the aforementioned DIVA network; and for assistance with its internal ChatGPT use.
