Bendigo Health is seeking an IT partner with substantial experience in delivering managed print services (MPS).
With over 5,000 staff, Bendigo Health treats over 51,000 patients and conducts almost 110,000 outpatient appointments annually.
It has three main campuses in Bendigo, Victoria, with many services extending to regional areas such as Mildura, Echuca, Swan Hill, Kyneton and Castlemaine.
In a request for tender published on 13 December 2023, Bendigo Health said it is seeking an IT partner to provide a printer and multi-function device solution and service program over a four-year term starting on 1 July 2024.
This includes the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of over 300 new MPS devices at more than 30 Bendigo Health locations.
The successful partner must provide PaperCut MF licences and a single universal print driver across all equipment and model types deployed at Bendigo Health locations.
It must ensure remote monitoring and management of MPS equipment and applications on Bendigo Health’s network and supply a project manager to coordinate the implementation of MPS equipment, software, applications and services.
The project also requires providing familiarisation and training for Bendigo Health staff, remote technical support and device repair, as well as supply and management of printer consumables like ink and toner.
Tenderers have the option to supply a secure on-board paper storage solution for MPS equipment and or a 'hot swap' device of each device located in the Bendigo Hospital campus precinct.
They may be required to provide an up to 1-hour demonstration in Bendigo of each proposed model of MPS equipment, including any accessories, enhanced functionality, options, software and applications for selected Bendigo Health staff.
The request for tender will close on 13 February 2024.
