BEarena offers Vegas trip for Nutanix buyer

BEarena is looking to drive demand for Nutanix technology among smaller clients with an offer to take one customer on an all-expenses paid trip to the vendor's conference in Las Vegas.

To participate, customers must purchase the Nutanix NX-1365S bundle, aimed at remote office/branch office (ROBO) and small business customers, before 30 April.

BEarena managing director Darren Ashley said: "The ROBO/SMB is an appliance-based approach to infrastructure that integrates with the cloud, yet only requires two rack units and therefore represents unmatched TCO in terms of real estate, power, cooling," added Ashley.

The Nutanix NX-1365 S–5.0 has 1TB of usable capacity, Intel Xeon Processor 2.60GHz 6-core Ivy Bridge E5-2630 v2 15M cache per node (three nodes in total), 64GB DDR3 RAM per node, 480GB SSD per node, 4TB HDD per node and three years' production support.

This is the second edition of the NEXT conference. Last year's event sold out the 1,000 available spots, according to BEarena.

"This is fast-moving technology area, the conference allows customers and prospects not only to hear of Nutanix developments, but also from the eco-system partners around them, encompassing cloud, security, backup, disaster recovery, and more," said Ashley.
