AUCloud has announced the expansion of its senior leadership team following AUCloud's acquisition of PCG Cyber, Venn IT and Arado, which it completed in early May 2024.
AUCloud's new Head of Cyber Security is David Milin, who has joined following the acquisition by AUCloud of PCG Cyber, where he was the Founder and Managing Director.
David brings over 20 years of experience in government and commercial sectors, specialising in governance, IT operations, risk management, and cybersecurity consulting.
Geoff Hughes, previously Founder and Managing Director of Venn, will be undertaking the role of General Manager of South Australia and Queensland at AUCloud.
Joshua Mann has joined AUCloud as Chief Operating Officer. He had been engaged by AUCloud in a consulting capacity since October 2023, leading the due diligence process for AUCloud’s recent acquisitions, the company stated.
One of Mann's previous roles was Head Of Business Development Cyber Security, APAC, for Thales, according to his LinkedIn profile.
"AUCloud has now implemented headcount reductions across the Group generating annualised savings of approximately $7.3M in accordance with its Integration Plan," the company stated.
The three acquired businesses have been restructured with "new functional teams across the Group aligned to Cyber Security, Cloud and Managed Services."
AUCloud CEO and Managing Director, Peter Maloney, said: "Following the acquisition of three strategically aligned businesses, we have established a new leadership team that will advance our cybersecurity services and lead us towards greater growth," said Maloney.
"Cybersecurity is a complex, challenging and growing space, so we will be drawing on the cumulative expertise of our recently appointed leaders to navigate this expanding sector."
"As an expanded senior leadership team, we look forward to strengthening our sovereign cloud, cybersecurity, and resilience services so that the nation’s data and security systems are safe, efficient and effective."
