ASUS has appointed Portia Chang as Australia and New Zealand regional head of the System Business Group.
VP of ASUS' global operation Eric Chen said 10-year ASUS veteran Chang would "enable the future growth of ASUS in the Australian market".
Chang's prior roles have included sales, business development and leadership across a number of European-based ASUS organisations. She was most recently managing director for ASUS Benelux, based in the Netherlands.
Chang said: "Innovation has seen ASUS develop as one of the world's top three consumer PC and tablet brands. Our solid market position provides a great base for us to springboard from in 2014. I look forward to growing our brand and market share in Australia."
Departing regional head Vivian Hung will continue with ASUS, but will move to the company's Taipei-based headquarters in a new, undisclosed role.
