Power and cooling vendor APC has launched a data centre demonstration and training facility as part of a new development in Perth's CBD.
The vendor said it allowed APC to demonstrate the "building blocks for an energy efficient data centre".
It would also be used by APC’s channel and vendor alliance partners to conduct technical product training and demonstrations for clients and staff.
The facility housed a demonstration space with APC’s modular data centre and hot aisle containment system as well as a dedicated wiring closet showcase.
Gordon Makryllos, vice president of APC Pacific said, "Modular and scalable data centre technology is a key growth area for our partners and customers across the region.
"The demonstration facility will enable them to stay abreast of the industry’s latest energy efficient data centre innovations."
APC said distribution partners Ingram Micro, Express Data, DPSA and Pacific Datacom attended the launch today.
Resellers AlphaWest, Synergy Plus, Datacom, Data3, Corporate Express, Perfect, Stott & Hoare, Xpanse, Moncrieff were also present.
