Cylance has announced six key appointments in Australia, including its first regional channel manager.
Lani Edwards has been appointed to the newly created role of regional channel manager and will report to Asia-Pacific vice-president Andy Solterbeck.
Edwards will be responsible for driving Cylance’s channel program and continued growth in the region. She previously served as regional head of channels at FireEye and Juniper Networks.
Rick Ferguson and Anthony Farr have been appointed enterprise sales managers. They will also report to Solterbeck.
Ferguson will lead sales in NSW, Canberra and New Zealand, while Farr will manage sales operations in Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.
Cylance has also hired three ANZ sales engineers – Vlado Vajdic, Mark Jones and Stephen King. They will report to Asia-Pacific director of sales engineering Greg Singh.
Solterbeck said Cylance had enjoyed strong uptake from the channel since launching in Australia earlier this year.
“We are excited to announce the new appointments to Cylance's channel and sales team in ANZ,” he said.
“Cylance’s regional growth strategy is reliant on our channel partners, and we are investing in a team of industry experts with impeccable credentials to manage and support the demand for our solutions.”
Founded in 2012, Cylance is a US-headquartered vendor that uses artificial intelligence to prevent cyber threats. Cylance recently appointed Arrow as its first distributor for Australia and New Zealand.
