Meanwhile, Chris Munro has assumed the director of solutions management and sales operations; Lynette Elliott has joined as marketing and business strategy director and Bob Lanigan who has been at NEC for five years was promoted to unified communications sales director.

Acer said it was undergoing changes to position itself as the world's leader for client computing and Australia was an important market for the company.

Tang would act as an advisor for these critical projects, corporate transformations and strategic directions.

In this role, Powell is responsible for all sales and customer relationships of Software AG in the region, including Australia and New Zealand. He will be based in the company’s regional headquarters in Sydney.

Powell joined Software AG in the UK in March 1995. He held a number of sales and management positions within the company prior to being appointed UK country manager in 2004.

This appointment marks the first time Alcatel-Lucent has had a full time lead of sales and management for its Genesys business in New Zealand.

Initially, he will focus on Anyware’s corporate channel sales from our existing brands such as ATEN, Pelican, Linkbasic and Plantronics. He is tasked with establishing and growing corporate channel sales for Anyware working with all branches and our corporate resellers nationally.

Sunton filled Robin Tang’s recently vacated role.

Christopher has worked in various channel management roles at RSA UK for the past 5 years. In his role, he will establish a structured engagement model with the channel, providing support to the internal RSA team to help them drive opportunities.

Before joining Panasonic, Fraser was IP Solutions business development manager at Sanyo Australia. He has 20 years of experience in the UK computer industry at companies including Unisys, Sun Microsystems and Phillips.

Murray Rosa, general manager - sales & delivery at ASG said, "his knowledge and expertise and experience in dealing with large complex customer engagements gives him an intimate understanding of what's required to further ASG's growth and relevance in the Australian market,” said Rosa.

Carr over two decades of experience in the IT industry, most recently at Oracle as the APAC Head of Global Key Accounts. Carr returns to the IT Industry following a 1 year sabbatical with his family.

Giannini is responsible for retail sales. He brings over 20 years experience to his role and will look to expand the retail team at Laser. Prior to Laser, he held several positions at Sony Australia, his last post being State Sales Manager, New South Wales, before moving to IT accessories company Audion as retail account manager.

McCann has more than 15 years’ experience in the IT industry in Europe and Australasia. Prior to joining Kaseya, he worked for IBM Australia, where he had sole responsibility for client management in the media & entertainment sector.

McCann replaced former Kaseya country manager Tim Dickinson who was appointed to a regional business development role in Oceania and South-East Asia last year.

Gray’s extensive experience includes senior roles as CIO at Suncorp, General Manager of Energy Information Systems and Managing Director of Logica Australia.
