More than 300 Cisco partners converged on Bangkok's river-side Sheraton Orchid Hotel last week for the second annual Asia Pacific, Japan and China (APJC) Partner-Led conference to hear what the vendor has in store to help its channel navigate and profit from some of the most disruptive trends ever witnessed by the industry. Cisco's recently appointed APJC president, Jaime Valles, was extremely bullish about economic growth in Asia, predicting that by 2020 it would account for 46 percent of the world’s GDP, have 60 percent of the world’s high speed broadband connections and 54 percent of all mobile phone subscribers.
