What SaaS brands and related services do you specialise in?
Accenture specialises in many established and emerging SaaS brands. Some key strategic partners include Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Vlocity, nCino, Pegasystems and Workday. Our services for these technologies range from strategy through to implementation and managed services.
When did your company first get involved in this area?
Accenture has been providing SaaS expertise to clients since 2004, serving most of the largest brands in the market. We have seen phenomenal growth over years as the market has learnedto trust this model of technology consumption.
What credentials and certifications does your business have that apply to SaaS delivery?
Accenture maintains the largest number of certified professionals for the SaaS solutions
we specialise in, continuously investing in our capability. We are widely recognised by our vendor partners as the leading system integrator.
What are the coolest or most interesting new developments in SaaS?
The breadth and complexity of cloud software is quite amazing. We’re seeing many clients move to a multi-SaaS environment and pure cloud solutions for identity management, HR, CRM, analytics and, to a lesser extent, ERP. We’re also seeing an increasing rate of industry specialisation in the vendor offerings.
Can you tell us about a recent major or particularly interesting SaaS deployment?
We’ve recently been instrumental in a local insurer’s revitalisation of their wealth adviser systems, which is one of our most significant Salesforce projects this year.
What factors are driving customer interest in SaaS?
Speed to market and the ability to adapt to constant change are major incentives for our clients, and current on-premises IT environments aren’t able to keep up or compete economically. The need for business and IT agility to compete in today’s world means businesses are shedding in-house complexity for the cloud at every level.
SaaS is…
Is the present and the future of business computing.
