We’re an Amazon consulting partner and a Microsoft Gold Cloud Productivity Partner. Many of our staff maintain a wide range of public cloud-related certifications with both vendors.
Have you heard about any cool developments recently?
Movement toward the potential of serverless infrastructure, using infrastructure as code and increased public cloud usage to enable the internet of everything and fog computing.
Can you tell us about a recent deployment you have done?
We recently worked with an organisation to develop a massively scalable mobile platform. The solution required 12 million concurrent users and the development time frame was inside eight weeks. In contrast to the traditional cycle that requires expensive hardware procurement, restricts testing, then massive investment to scale, we were able to test under full load within weeks at a fraction of the cost.
What is driving customers’ public cloud projects?
The ability to start a proof-of-concept and scale into production, expanding on the initial work, without risk on the initial investment. Our customers often talk in terms of drastically reducing time to value and using public cloud to achieve their goals much quicker.
