Distribution Central has made four internal executives promotions following a senior management restructure.
Managing director Nick Verykios has been promoted to chief executive, with former chief executive Scott Frew stepping down to become non-executive chairman. Frew will stay on as president and chief executive of asset renewal vendor iasset.com.
“My interest and focus is achieving successful start-up and early growth phases,” said Frew.
“Once those milestones are reached, I transition the executive management of the business to a strong leadership team which has been organically developing. Nick Verykios has been part of the Distribution Central business since its inception and will guide the business through its next stage of growth.”
It comes as the distributor broke through the $300 million revenue mark after 11 years in operation, having grown 14 percent in Australia and 16 per cent in New Zealand over the past financial year. Distribution Central employs 120 people across Australia & New Zealand.
More staff changes
Andrew Assad, general manager of the Vivid Systems business unit, was appointed chief sales officer, while Andrew Vaughan will stay on as chief financial officer.
APAC operations manager Mathew Mornington-West was promoted to chief operating officer, while APAC marketing manager Carineh Grigorian became chief marketing manager.
Former CTO and CIO Michael Carlile also left his position after 10 years, but is staying on as CTO of iasset.com.
