Westcon-Comstor has signed on software vendor Maestrano for the distributor's BlueSky cloud and service management platform.
The Sydney-headquartered software-as-a-service provider Maestrano synchronises data from business apps in real-time and provides reporting for small businesses across the world.
"Working with Westcon-Comstor presents a great opportunity for our resellers and end-users. The partnership will expand our reseller sales channel and continue the tremendous success we have had in providing solutions to customers," Maestrano chief executive Stephane Ibos said.
Through Maestrano's dashboard, it is possible to access software-as-a-service tools from Xero, Quickbooks and MYOB.
According to Westcon-Comstor, customers will now be able to integrate data from existing apps and additional ones available on BlueSky, including from cloud partners such as AWS.
Westcon-Comstor senior vice president and general manager cloud practice Dan Connolly said: "Maestrano complements our global ISV strategy, focusing on vertical solutions, to help resellers accelerate cloud adoption. With the addition of Maestrano, we can deliver all building blocks for solutions, from hardware and software for on-premise solutions, to hybrid and public cloud, and into the higher-value applications space."
BlueSky 4.0 provides a marketplace for cloud procurement, linked catalogues, business applications connectivity, digital provisioning, analytics, cloud infrastructure-as-a-service analytics, optimisation engine, and simplified billing, according to Westcon-Comstor. Partners have now access to more than 100 business apps.
"BlueSky 4.0, a major upgrade, helps ensure Westcon-Comstor keeps its resellers at the centre of cloud transactions and is provided free of charge to our cloud resellers," said Connolly.
Maestrano has operations in Australia, Asia, United Arab Emirates, USA and the UK.
