The Missing Link Network Integration and Security has expanded into Melbourne, with its first office in the city located in Hawthorn.
Due to growth in demand from new and existing customers in the region the growing company realised it was time to make the move.
Managing director Alex Gambotto said: "We’ve always worked nationally, but now demand for our services has increased enabling us to have a permanent footprint in the city."
The Melbourne office will initially count on four staff members, including sales executives and a security architect.
"We’ve already established a strong team of sales and technical staff who have hit the ground running, meeting new prospects and introducing themselves to current clients," Gambotto said.
The Missing Link has a total of 75 staff members, 25 of which are dedicated to the security division of the business.
The new office will also have a dedicated staff member involved in both parts of the business.
"We’ve had our Sydney HQ in Artarmon for 20 years this year. In that time, our company has grown substantially, first with the acquisition of Inform Solutions in 2003 followed by Artis Infrastructure Group in 2011 and in 2013 when we launched our security services. Expanding our geographical footprint will strengthen our position in the market and allow us to service new and existing Melbourne clients better," Gambotto added.
The company expects to continue growing its client base with the expansion.
In 2016, The Missing Link's security division topped the CRN Fast50 company with 333.26 percent growth for the 2016 financial year, resulting in $11.5 million revenue.
"Our investment in a Melbourne office has been on the table for a long time. Recent activities like winning CRN’s Fast50 and the interest in our new ASD 4 as a service offering means the time is right. It’s still early days, but we hope to grow our Melbourne staff soon,” Gambotto said.
