Digital Lifecycle Group, an initiative of Australian-owned software and consulting company Cost Down Revenue Up, has acquired Sydney financial management software vendor ClearCost.
The move represents part of DLG’s plan to become “a complete digital lifecycle provider” through which it expects to deliver services from strategy to sourcing, execution and technology supply chain management. The acquisition marks one of several planned by the consultant.
DLG said it differentiated itself from other major management consultancies by being focused on delivering client outcomes in addition to setting IT strategies.
The company touted that its subsidiary, Cost Down Revenue Up had worked with more than 70 percent of the ASX100 to deliver “over 1500 successful client outcomes covering over $3 billion in the last 18 months of technology and shared services expenditure”.
Digital Lifecycle Group executive chairman Ian Woollett said the acquisition evidenced the company's commitment to becoming a leading digital strategy consultant for Australian enterprise companies and government.
“The new group will enable us to extend our reputation of 16 years, success and expertise and fuel the growth we need to create Australia’s largest independent digital sourcing, transformation and execution group,” he said.
“[Cost Down Revenue Up] already has a proven reputation for achieving sustainable operational cost reduction outcomes in technology, telecommunications and shared services. DLG’s focus will be on adding all the capabilities required for our customers to initiate, extend or complete their digital lifecycle journey and allow them to realise greater efficiencies and competitive edge.”
The ClearCost software suite has four components, ClearCost Cloud, ClearCost Enterprise, ClearCost Explorer and ClearCost Benchmark.
