Sektor Australia has named Anthony Alleyn as business manager for its Hewlett Packard Enterprise business unit.
Prior to joining Sektor, Alleyn worked for Avnet for 10 years and was recently the business unit director. Alleyn joined Avnet in 2006 as an HP product manager.
Before joining Avnet, Alleyn worked for Ingram for three years, also as an HP specialist.
Sektor Australia general manager Cameron Arnold said: "Anthony brings over a decade of experience with HPE and will be a valuable addition to the Sektor team. We are very excited to extend on our existing Aruba relationship and the opportunity to offer the broader HPE Networking portfolio.”
In February, Avnet was one of the distributors dropped after the Hewlett Packard Enterprise distribution tender, while Sektor added the HPE networking range to its existing arrangement with Aruba.
