John Sciff, vice president JD Edwards World, told CRN: “The conference is an opportunity for us to message to our customers, for them to give us feedback on what they are thinking, and to interact with our partners who are represented at the conference, both as speakers and as exhibitors.”
“It’s a really good community building opportunity,” he added.
Oracle partners from around the world will be exhibiting their products to the local Quest user community. Daily seminars will cover issues such as unified customer support, B2B strategies, and best practice in upgrading. Presenters will also be discussing security implementation, business process outsourcing, supply chain and procurement, and sales forecasting technology.
The A/NZ chapter is the oldest and largest group affiliated with Quest International Users Group, having served as a support network for regional customers since 1999.
Sciff said the relationship with Quest was a strong one: “We have a very close alliance with Quest, both regionally and at a headquarters level.”
The conference runs from Wednesday to Friday at the Sofitel Hotel.
