IZAZI Solutions provides technology services to the banking sector.
Its applications afford banks an opportunity to realise real bottom line results derived from its solutions. The company is headquartered in South Africa, with offices in Australia, India, Namibia and Botswana.
Jay Pather, CEO of IZAZI , tells CRN what the partnership means for resellers.
CRN: Why has IZAZI partnered with SAP?
Pather: SAP is the largest business software company in the world with a track record of innovative, efficient and stable business systems.
IZAZI has partnered with SAP because the technology solutions for banking made available by SAP are best of breed.
Further the solution set is an end to end offering hence affording banks an opportunity to have an enterprise platform strategy and not mix and match technology solutions.
Further SAP has made significant progress in the SOA and integration space which provides the glue for interfacing and business process optimization.
CRN: Why did IZAZI choose to go into partnership with SAP?
Pather: The partnership is an extension of our existing relationship with SAP in other territories.
CRN: How will the deal benefit resellers - what does it mean for them?
Pather: The SAP A1 partner agreement enable IZAZI to sell the SAP products directly into the FS market and enable us to provide full end to end implementation and support services.
CRN: How will the two companies work together and why now?
Pather: SAP and IZAZI will work together to create an awareness within the midmarket banking sector, specifically for purposes of demonstrating SAP's ability to provide a cost effective midmarket banking solution.
Furthermore, IZAZ's deep FS industry domain knowledge enables us develop an SAP product implementation roadmap that banks can realise in a phased manner, thereby seeing incremental returns in ROI over time.
IZAZI has developed specific banking templates that leverage SAP technology, this allows for a more rapid implementation and further encapsulates best of breed practices.
CRN: Where are IZAZI's offices in Australia, how many staff work there and will they be recruiting more as a result of the partnership?
Pather: IZAZI's office is located in North Sydney and is home to five consultants.
The local team is complemented by our international resource pool of over 280 on a project basis.
IZAZI is in the process of recruiting more staff as a consequence of joint marketing and sales effort.
CRN: What changes will the company be making this year?
Pather: No changes are envisaged for the year, the only exception being creating awareness within the banking sector and development of additional resources.
CRN: How will the global economic crisis affect you?
Pather: The global economic crisis will have an effect on all companies, however this in itself opens up new opportunities.
Our clients are mainly financial services companies and the pressures of the economic crises will demand for them to be innovative, agile, efficient and deliver more with less.
With our industry knowledge and SAP as our technology solution we will be able to equip companies with the tools necessary for incremental growth.
