The solutions work as direct attached storage (DAS), in a storage area network (SAN), and with JBOD expansion.
They carry RAID and subsystem management tools such as WebPAM PROe, a CLI and CLU connection, and optional LCD monitor.
"Promise Technology is recognised as a global leader in the storage industry with a 20 Year track record as an innovator in RAID technology," said Richard Huang, national sales manager, Digicor.
"Everyday enterprise class data centres around the world choose Promise RAID solutions as the technology of choice to protect their critical information and to ensure continuous data availability.
"Their confidence in these RAID solutions is a reflection of Promise's commitment to providing the quality, reliability and support that these data centres demand.
"This commitment to quality is why enterprise class performance and reliability can be found in every Promise product, from the data centre to the desktop," he added.
The solutions provide Power Scheduler, which powers the system to standby mode on a scheduled basis to reduce power consumption.
It also has the One-Plug-Auto-Service (OPAS) which gives the user a report of historic data, event log, array configuration and setup generated by the system via USB stick.
Huang said because the solutions broaden the range of sub-systems that Promise offers, resellers have products that are more suitable to the end-user's specific needs.
As a cost effective solution he said they were competitive in the market and resellers can enjoy better margins in competing with other brands.
The solutions are available from Promise Authorised Distributors.
