Specialist distributor UPS West has struck a deal to take multinational data centre infrastructure vendor Emerson Network Power into the Australian market.
"We chose to work with Emerson as they are the world leaders in UPS and cooling products and are well known for their quality and reliability," said UPS West's business development manager Ian Hart.
A statement from the US vendor said that UPS West will distribute its UPS hardware Liebert NXC and Liebert GXT3, along with thermal management machine Liebert DM.
"As we operate in the data centre industry, we have found a need for the Liebert DM for small rooms in major buildings in the central business district as well as in regional sites," said Hart.
The distie will also offer "training, technical resources, as well as industry experts" for Emerson resellers.
Perth-based UPS West specialises in data centre power and cooling infrastructure. Emerson Network Power is part of the US conglomerate Emerson, which racked up US$24.7 billion in revenue last year.
