Under the deal, Objective will capture and manage information and support ten key business processes on the shared services ECM platform.
ServiceFirst modeled some 40 business processes across all agencies before a steering committee decided on the ten that Objective will be tasked with streamlining and managing.
These include correspondence and records management; contact management with internal and external stakeholders; processing of finance, HR and IT transactions; and responses to Ministerial and Director General correspondence.
The Objective platform will replace, among other things, a legacy records management system that could only manage paper-based records.
It is also expected to improve information sharing between regionally-dispersed agencies, ServiceFirst said.
ServiceFirst delivers shared corporate services to NSW Government clients.
It brings together the former central corporate services unit (CCSU), corporate shared services (CSS) and Department of Commerce shared services.
