Software developers will be able to target new markets with business applications built on top of business processes.
SuiteCloud includes SuiteCloud Developer Network (SDN) - a developer program for Independent Software Developers (ISVs) - and SuiteApp.com, where ISVs, customers and solution providers can find applications online.
Channel partners will have access to sell their applications to NetSuite users worldwide, as well as leveraging the NetSuite product to offer to their existing customers, said Dan Wilmott, marketing manager at NetSuite.
"The subscription-based model will provide a recurring revenue stream for partners," he said.
"This application will allow specialised resellers to come on board to service markets NetSuite is not involved in."
OnLine One has been a NetSuite partner for over 2 years.
Don McLean, of Online One, told CRN that using SaaS is cost-effective.
"It's an additional revenue stream and one where the costs are pretty much fixed," he said. "It also allows you to scale so that services are delivered as software bundles efficiently and easily.
"We can move a user from MYOB to NetSuite in a week using our bundled MYOB migration tool, all designed and written in NS-BOS."
Gary Bigelow channel manager at ePayroll, said, NetSuite has an offering that matches its SaaS strategy.
"Their focus on the SMB channel makes them natural partner for us," he said.
ePayroll is a specialist payroll vendor.
"This means end-users can benefit from a tightly integrated payroll that has been specifically designed for the Australian SMB."
SMBs are currently looking for as many avenues to minimize operational costs as possible, said Bigelow.
