My Net Fone Enterprise has launched its Cloud Connect solution for Microsoft Office 365 Skype for Business and Teams.
The hosted communications provider's solution allows enterprises using Office 365 Skype for Business internally to extend the functionality to make calls to any phone number outside the organisation without the need for any on-premises PBX infrastructure.
“A vast majority of businesses are already transitioning to Microsoft Office 365 cloud infrastructure, but have the limitation that the platform does not natively support external calling,” MNF Enterprise solutions manager Greg Round said.
"MNF Enterprise’s Cloud Connect extends the solution by providing national and international voice network connectivity for Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams."
The company has taken its new solutions to Victorian non-profit organisation Sacred Heart Mission, which provides community services, care facilities and operates op-shops.
“MNF Enterprise have understood Sacred Heart Mission’s needs and provided advice, support and a solution that aligns to our ICT strategy of transitioning into the cloud,” Sacred Heart Mission ICT manager Gavin More said.
“We now have the mobility we need across multiple devices, desktops, mobile phones and iPads with MNF Enterprise’s voice service and Skype for Business. Following the initial pilot, we are now migrating all services and sites to this solution, and porting our phone numbers into MNF Enterprise’s cloud platform.”
The Cloud Connect solutions supports iOS, Android and IP desktop phones and allows users to make and receive voice and video calls in Office 365 using existing numbers, according to MNF, which added that typical PBX features like call transfer, call waiting, hold music and queues were also available.
My Net Fone Enterprise is a member of the ASX-listed My Net Fone group. The enterprise facing brand was launched in early November.
