Voges has big shoes to fill, although Marlow said his appointment is positive news for Microsoft channel partners. “Paul has great experience in the services environment where we work closely with our partners,’ she explained.
Having been with Microsoft for over five years, most recently as director of services, he has already worked closely with many of Microsoft’s partners on joint business development as well as planning and delivering solutions to customers.
“It’s with tremendous excitement and enthusiasm that I move into this role,” said Voges. “Our partners are the lifeblood of Microsoft’s business. A key priority for me is to ensure that we continue our strong engagement and provide the solutions, support and tools that in turn will help drive their success.”
With over 12 years experience in the ICT industry, Voges has worked for systems integration, consulting and product companies including IBM South Africa, Dimension Data and SPL WorldGroup. He also has experience in business development, sales and consulting on customer relationship management, contact centre solutions and IT strategy for medium-sized enterprise.
“Our 14,000 partners form a critical part of the IT ecosystem and through their efforts, they really play a fundamental role in powering Australia’s IT industry,” said Voges.
