Kroll Ontrack to hand out financial incentives to resellers

The new and improved resources and rewards for service partners are designed to provide cost-effective solutions for data loss situations for resellers and third party ICT providers.

The organisation also wants to attract new partners through the program.

According to Adrian Briscoe, general manager APAC, Kroll Ontrack, the program recognises the needs that partners have from a ‘revenue recognition, support and software utilisation’ perspective.

Highlights of the partner program include: being able to license Kroll Ontrack proprietary software, including its PowerControls Business, Ontrack EasyRecovery and Ontrack Eraser software.

Financial Incentives to access reseller discounts and referral commissions, training to support partners with technical updates and providing partners with up-to-date sales and engineering support and materials.

“We can assist with physical recoveries but the program we are enhancing allows customers to use our software for logical recoveries. We are empowering partners to use our software commercially,” said Briscoe.

“We are empowering our customers to do logical and deleted recovery on their own premises and anything more technical they can send it in to our lab for recovery,” he added.

Briscoe claims that by using Kroll Ontrack’s software products to recover, erase data and perform restoration requests, resellers will be able to expand their business into new services with no capital outlay.

He said the company also supports its service partners with proactive account management, direct-touch sales assistance, engineering support and marketing specialists.

“By adding data recovery to their service portfolio, service partners can provide a much-needed service to their customer-base, generate new revenue streams and boost customer loyalty,” he said.
