The acquisition of TC Electrical forms part of the company’s growth strategy and extends its national coverage.
Peter Jinks, joint managing director, KLM said this coverage now includes operations in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Townsville, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart.
“This acquisition not only completes our national coverage, it provides us with an experienced workforce with a strong client base in the contracting sector in Tasmania. We will work with TC Electrical’s current management to grow and develop the Tasmanian KLM Group office, which we expect will be a sound contributor to our national revenue and profit growth,” said Jinks.
According to Jinks, TC Electrical operates out of Hobart and currently employs 15 personnel. The company was established in 1986 and provides services primarily in the electrical contracting sector.
“KLM Group will enhance the Hobart-based operations through the introduction of its core products and services such as those associated with the KLM Group’s Technology and Energy Management Divisions,” said Jinks.
